Hi...

Can you recommend a good Twitter app for the 10.5” IPP? Perhaps something that effectively uses the screen real estate? Option for dark mode would be great.

Tweetbot is the best client that I've ever used. I've got it installed on all my iOS devices. Auto dark mode as well, which is really convenient.

Yes, Tweetbot.

The official Twitter app is utter garbage. It hasn't sorted newest first by default for ages and it throws in a bunch of inline ads (a.k.a. "Promoted" tweets).

Tweetbot also has a great feature that will mute someone for 1 day/week/month/forever. If you use Tweetbot on multiple devices (both iDevices and Macs), the mute will sync over to your other devices.

It's great if you love ads mixed seamlessly in with your feed.

For me literally first post, someone I follow, second post ad.

I use the original App. Only really annoying thing is Notifications jump to the most recent instead of first unread.

Sometimes it jumps to the first unread, making me think they’ve fixed it, but then it reverts to the most recent, forcing me to quickly scroll down the list to the first unread before the ‘unread’ background colour changes to match that of the read...

They always had an official version. The latest incarnation is a buy out version of the tweetie app as far as I remember.
