I favorite news app, Breaking News Online (BNO) has discounted the service/app. As such I am looking for another way to get some type of breaking news and in this day and age Twitter seems one of the best.
I of course already use Twitter and my primary Twitter client on my iPhone is Twitter (formally Tweetie).
I already have a few users I get SMS notification from but I am wondering is there is a Twitter Client where one can select to receive from various feeds they follow in one's timeline? I don't want a notification each and overtime something gets posted to my timeline but if I could and choose what feeds that would be great. Ideally I could just look at the app's icon and say "oh 5 new tweets" and open it up and view them.
I know I could certainly add more to my SMS notification but I am wanting to separate various Tweets from Text Messages.
All this make sense?
