what in the lord's name is a hashflag. i feel old. gimme dat ipad mini
When I worked for an Apple reseller, people would buy this MacBook only because they loved the black.
I'm looking forward to it too, though my enthusiasm is not like it was just a couple of weeks ago.
The thing I don't like about black matte is how your skin can leave little skid-marks on it, especially if you have dry skin.

"Oh, oops, I had my palms resting there, and it sanded off some of my skin."
"That's nasty."
"Yeah, well the only other option is to use a moisturizer, but then it would leave an oil slick on my laptop."
"That's WORSE!"
But don't underestimate any manufacturer for their ability to shoot themselves in the foot...

For the first time in many years, I'm not at all excited about this event. Apple has shown its true colors. They will make you pay $$ for a device and then use that very device to spy on you.
After the whole CSAM debacle I am not even looking at what they launch. If they canceled it instead of delaying then maybe. Right now I can’t afford to replace all my Apple products (Iphone 12, iPad Pro, MacBook Pro 15”, Apple Watch) but I sure won’t be buying anymore.
When it’s time to replace them I will go with another brand. Sony Xperia is looking really good and they are actually made in actual Japan. Like the country that makes the highest quality electronics. With workers that are paid a decent wage and get to go home to see their families every night, and without any forced labor (slavery) concerns to worry about.

They need to drop the CSAM thing, issue a public apology like they did with Maps and anyone who worked on the project needs to be told to stop immediately and never speak of it again.
Ooooh. I didn’t even think about black being an option on MBP!! That would be stellar! I also had a black MB 13” when that was a thing— actually, it was my first Apple!
Just wanted to say that a custom emoji is not a marketing strategy, just a marketing tactic.
This could be the biggest advance in mobile phone technology since new phone colours were announced!
