My vote goes to Twitter because Facebook is always filled up with people asking people to 'Like if they wish cancer didn't exist' or 'like if you want 2000 friend requests' and such.
Which do you guys prefer?

Different uses for different things.

I've met some seriously important business partners via Facebook and I keep in touch with Joe Public via Twitter. S'all there is to it.

Facebook for friends, but Twitter for interests. I use Facebook for personal stuff with people I know in real life, and Twitter for discussing technology. I only mention tech stuff on Facebook if it's in reply to others or if it's an issue affecting Facebook users.

I use Facebook much more than Twitter, but I prefer Tweetbot over the Facebook iOS app.

They really are so different. Facebook is more about close friends and family. Twitter is the larger community.

Twitter.

I can't stand all the dopey, boring Facebook posts. At least there are some interesting things on Twitter.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a bottle of Jack Daniels to attend to.

I tried using twitter for a while, but all gave up on it.

Most everyone I know uses facebook and I use FB to interact with them

It's like comparing apples to oranges

I use FB to keep up with my family and friends
I use Twitter to follow sports mainly, as well as some Apple related news

I do facebook, not twitter. However, the games on Facebook seem to be about killing it for me. My feed is too clogged up with stupid game stuff.

Like some others have said. They are two different beasts.

Facebook for connecting with old high school friends.

Twitter for breaking news, sports, and friends.

Macrumors for NASCAR news.

I have both.
Twitter I use as an adult. :p
Facebook is so I can keep in touch with my grandchildren.:D

I prefer Twitter since it's 140 characters or less which keeps things short and to the point.

To me, Facebook is wholly annoying with nearly everything on there. I tried it for about 1 year and then deleted everything I had on it and deleted the account.

I'm not going to cover ground already covered regarding the differences, but my vote goes to Twitter.

I used to hate Twitter and thought it was pointless and loved Facebook. But since I got Twitter last September I've barely been on fb

Facebook. I don't use Twitter at all.

I get maybe one of those a month. Maybe it's because I'm 37 and not 17 and my friends just don't do most of those things.

Twitter.

That would be your friends. Are you friends with dopey, boring people? I quite enjoy keeping up with the postings and photos of friends from all over the world.

Do you not block the games? I know a large number of my friends play Facebook games. I don't play any, and I don't care about your farm, your fish, your mafia, your jewels, your words, your hidden chronicles...any of it. But my News Feed is free and clear of game posts. I block every game post that comes across and never see them again.

Most of the time I ever see people complaining about Facebook, it's their own issues.
