    Hey guys!

We're going a lot more video stuff at my church, and our old GT120's just weren't handling what we needed.

Is there any way to put two 5770's in a 2009 Pro? I know they technically aren't supported, but we have one in right now and it works great.

The reason I ask is because when I put them both in, the fan on one of them backs right up to the bottom of the other card.

    Thanks!

You don't need a second PSU. The 2009 Mac Pro already has enough power for two 5770s built in.

You should be fine running two 5770s next to each other. The fan backing up into the other card is a little concerned, but I ran in a similar configuration without issue. There should be vents at the back of the card, which won't be blocked, and I believe the card should still be drawing air through.

Yes. You're completely right, my bad.
