You all realize this is just a mockup, right? Nobody actually knows if Apple will use this exact orange. I thought that was common knowledge here, but reading these comments has me second guessing.

I have a feeling that it might be more of a bright bronze color in appearance with an unexpected name. It’s funny how we get these dummy models each year with a 8-times chance of the hero color being wrong. I thought I was getting a brown copper 16 PM but instead we get this cafe con leche gold wannabe.
Bronze is just considered a shade of (brown-)orange anyway. Either way, I'm likely getting it.

Very true but the main target is the demo for whom the outside is more important then the inside.
Really, REALLY hope the orange/copper is more orange than copper. Love the boldness and vibrancy of the orange in some of the other renders, but if it's the copper shown here, no thanks.

My exact thought. Not sure if it is how the photo rendered out on the page, but that colour looks doo-doo brown.
They did the same thing last year with the desert titanium mockups, and it turned out to be beautiful. Apple isn’t going to release a turd.
Only orange would get me to upgrade to a new Pro phone. Copper would definitely move the decision needle in the opposite direction, I'll stick with my 15 PM.
Looks like a dark mustard color rather than orange, let’s hope the rendering is off. Apple’s colors often look better in person…🤞🏻
