iPhone 6(S)/Plus Two Audio Players At Once?

Hello! Need some help!

I own an iPhone 6S and I want to play two separate audio players on my phone simultaneously. My goal is to play 1) affirmations I self-recorded on a voice memo app (VoiceRecorder), and 2) Spotify, at the same time.

Every time I play one, the other shuts down. Any helpful hints??

The current ios version does not even support playing music/whatever from two different sources to two different devices (such as play music in one app to a Bluetooth speaker while play video in another app to a wired headphone), let alone playing music from two sources to one device (such as speaker).
I do play some games that has its own music but does not stop music playback from my phone when the game is running. This means I can listen to my own music while playing the game. So, if app developer wants that happen, it could happen.

This comes down to how an app has been developed. Generally every audio output function will be developed in a way where the current app takes over the main output of the device.

If an app is not stopping any other app that’s using audio then this will be counted as a bug.

Indeed and dedicated apps relating to audio output will assume that the user wants to listen to what is coming out of their app. The use case for a game, however, is different.

Man that stinks! We can land one spaceship on the moon and I can’t listen to affirmations and music at the same time unless I bring two devices ;-)
