hello my friends! last nite i i noticed my almost new macbook (bought 1-dec-07, so it's a santa rosa one) has TWO bad pixels near the centre of the screen.

one can notice it when a black background is applied. i can see two white pixels on any dark (especially black) wallpaper, they are close to each other, and are situated near the center of the screen.

i tried tapping and tried several programs that flash quickly different colours, etc . and all other methods i read in the forum with no success.

question : can i ask from apple to change the screen ? is it worth the trouble ? if not , what do you suggest i should do (i guess i have to live with it after all..) ?

    thanx.

You have one year warranty - I suggest you ask for a replacement.

Replace it, this machine is well deserved to be perfect so, change it when you can!

Don't know if it has changed much but this might help…

Useful find, arkitect - a bit of a bummer though for the OP.
