Two bluetooth receiver?

2018 Macbook pro has bluetooth 5.0 which doesn't support 2.0 device. But I still need to use some old devices that only comes with bluetoot 2.0. Macbook pro can't even 'find' the device.

So would I be able to use a 'usb bluetooth receiver' that comes with BT 3.0 (or older) and not conflict with the built-in bluetooth capability?
