Carrier Two different model iPhones: will one get a better carrier signal?

Thinking about moving to Verizon, though the coverage via my iPhone 6 is somewhat poor. Would the Verizon phone that is compatible with all carriers get any better signal?

the iphone X has poor signal pickup than my 7+ and 6+ and its a verizon unlock bought from apple if that helps you

Well, the model that is compatible with Verizon is basically the one that is compatible with all carriers.

if i have suffecient signal bars both my iphone 7+ and X are identical but when the signal is poor my 7+ holds better and my X is gone and what sucks about it is it take a while to come back.in general my X suffers from drop call while using line app and thats not an issue on my 7+,i hope its just a software problem and it will get better overtime

Different carries will have different good and poor reception areas. You won't know until you try it. As for the X, mine with a qualcomm modem does better than my 6s Plus with the Intel did, in some areas. Other areas the same.
