I was running a ShapeShifter theme called Liger prior to the install which had a faux dock tray. Since installing Leopard, there are two trays. The normal Leopard tray and the wonky Liger tray. Should I simply uninstall ShapeShifter? It doesn't work with Leopard anyway.

Uh, don't want to come off rude, but...
There's a program incompatible with Leopard that makes Leopard look ugly. Why would you keep it? >_>

I understand that. The question is since I didn't uninstall it prior to installing Leopard, what should I do now? Can I simply trash ShapeShifter, reboot and the problem will go away?

I ran the ShapeShifter uninstaller but the second dock tray is still there.

Look for something similar to "Liger Dock" and kill that using your choice of Activity Monitor or Terminal.

Then check in System Preferences > Accounts > Login Items tab and make sure that it is not in the list to start when you login.

Hope this helps.
