Has anyone else been having this problem?

I open up iTunes and it says I need to log in because "Your iCloud session has expired". I put in my ID and password, hit ok, then it says I need a verification code. So my iPhone gets a notification and a code, perfect. But now what? There's no additional dialog on my Mac. No place to put the code. What do I do? I tried restarting and logging in and out of iCloud.

I had this same problem yesterday. What I needed to do was append the verification code to the end of my password in the box that says that I need the verification code. I am assuming that this is a mistake that will be cleared up later. After I got in my first time it has been much smoother any time I have had to use the verification code.

That's weird. Worked perfectly, though. Thanks!

This has to do with the new two-factor authentication in El Capitan and iOS 9.
