Two HomePods as computer speakers?

My HomePod seems to be a couple of seconds behind on audio when connected to my Mac. Unless it is Airplay through iTunes itself. VLC, Quicktime, Safari, etc, lag. Is anyone else having this issue?
 
On my MacBook Pro I have no lags only when using Safari (to watch Netflix, Youtube).
But as soon as I try to watch something in VLC I have a lag. Some say to set the sound delay at -2200ms in VLC but still, it's not a perfect sync.
