two passwords on a Mac

Hi,

A friend just emailed me, who has a new Mac and asked how does he stop the machine asking for two passwords each time he switches on.

i have no idea how he may have set this up

any ideas please

It sounds like a Keychain Password issue. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH18681

If the keychain password does not match your login password, when you log in you must also enter a password to unlock the keychain.
