Two phones, one watch

First...I know I can't sync two phones to the same watch...so hear me out.
I primarily use my work iPhone and have it sync'd to my Apple watch 2 and this works perfect. I have an unrelated personal phone that I use for occasional side-gig calls that I don't want to use my work phone for.
I'm contemplating getting the new Apple watch and wondering how the cellular might fit into my life. I'm sure I can't call my employer and have them add my Apple watch...just too big of a company. So...I'm thinking if I want any cellular capabilities it would have to be tied to my personal phone.
I'm guessing that would allow me to receive phone calls and texts for the personal line while not near my personal phone. Guessing I wouldn't get any calls/texts from my work phone. Right?
 
Have you asked your employer (or the IT department) whether they could actually add the LTE AW to their system? I would imagine that their are folks in the IT department that have already gotten their LTE watches onto the system as IT guys/gals are often tech junkies too.

It won't happen. I work for AT&T....too many rules. You can only get what's already in their employee catalog. They do actually have an apple watch available, but I wouldn't be able to get them to buy me the apple watch in my current position. So I'm stuck with using my personal apple watch with my corporate phone.

That's too bad, but at least they actually have a catalog for you to choose from. So at least you got that going for you.
