Hi,

I am looking for some decent two (or more) player games. By two-player, I mean two people playing one the same device. For example, LightBike has a feature called split screen where two people can play at the same time. Galcon has a multiplayer feature, but it is Wi-Fi, so it would not meet my standards. Also, I prefer it to be cheap ($5 or under, free or $1/2 is ideal).

I am sure there are many out there that meet these standards, so I want your favorites.

Thank you in advance.

I wouldn't call it a favorite, but my kids like Touch Hockey by flipside5 (air hockey). It allows two players.

I also have Dots Free, but it's more of a pass back and forth game rather than simultaneous play.

I have some

iShoot - $1.99 you have to pass your iDevice back and forth but iShoot can play 1-4 players!

UFO battle- $0.99 it has almost infinite replayability!

Free checkers- free the name says it all.

Hope I helped!

Yeah, I was thinking about iShoot.

Comeon, there's got to be more people!

I could name many more but don't have time sorry. A few though I'll mention though Hanto, Astraware Board Games, Metasquares, Clearout.

Wurdle, Touch Touch Shapes, and although it wasn't created for pass'n'play, we enjoy taking turns trying to get passed levels in Super Monkey Ball. One of us fails, the next makes a go at it. Monopoly's good as well.

Scrabble has pass'n'play? I'll have to get that for my ESL classes.

Spirit Board

May I recommend the Spirit Board, now available as a free download from the App Store? (Here's the link!)

If you have ever used a Ouija Board, you will recall the mystic energy that flows between the two people who hold the Board and the spirits from the Other Side.

While the Spirit Board is a free download, it should be used with caution. The secrets the Ouija reveals are not meant to be known by mortals. Men and women have gone mad, lost forever in demonic shadows.

Although the Spirit Board can be used by a single courageous individual, we strongly recommend that you not undertake this perilous journey alone. Find a trusted friend to accompany you in your search for ultimate truth.

Each person should place their thumbs on two of the four Spirit Disks at the corners of the Spirit Board. You need not guide the Board; the spirits will take control.

Ask your question. Then watch the pointer and speak the letters it indicates, in a respectful voice. When your session is complete, post the spirits' reply to the Comments section, so that others may learn from your experience...even if you have been bound in a straitjacket and confined to a small padded room, where you can do yourself no harm.

TapTap Revenge is free. The new one and the old one both have "splitscreen" multiplayer..

The Atari arcade games (Missile Command, Centipede, Super Breakout) have "hand the system to player 2" style gameplay. Chimps Ahoy and its free Lite version could be played two player, because the game is basically Arkanoid with two paddles, Pong-style. And the developer figured that out, in the Halloween-themed version they added 2-player scoring.

Thanks everybody. Tap Tap Revenge and Air Hockey are great. Spirit Board looks cool. Keep 'em coming!
