Two questions

After updating from macOS 18.7 to macOS 26 my MacBook Pro was very slow. I made a fresh install and everything is very fast now. No problem at all. However, I have some questions:
1- If I change the wallpaper doing right-click, cmd+Q do not work to close System Settings. To work I have to change to another setting. If I open System Settings it opens in General and cmd+Q works well.
2- When I restart my mac the default image is always the same. Can I change it because I don’t like it? As far as I know it can’t be changed.

I started the upgrade, left, and when I came back it was ready to log in.

oh, defining the users and other stuff? That just happened when I made the fresh install.
