Two Strange External Hard Drives

I have a file I want to secure, I have put it in "Documents", "External Hard Drive" exFAT, but when I try to sane it to my other External Hard Drive with NTFS, it will not go. I have use format png & pdf without success.
Any suggestions ?

OS X cannot write into NTFS natively. You will need to either format your other drive as exFAT (which is compatible with both Windows and OS X), or install a programme to enable NTFS compatibility on OSX.
