Two USB Cams at Once?

I'd like to be able to use iChat and Skype or Periscope in video mode at the same time on a MacPro 2.66. I only have one USB cam right now and I notice if I lauch iChat and then Skype, Skype tells me the one USB cam is busy. Would I run into this problem if I had two USB cams utilizing two applications at once?

I assume that you wouldn't have that problem, but I'd borrow a camera from a friend first as you won't want to spend money on a good camera only to find out it doesn't exactly work 🙂

Thanks that was a good idea. Periscope, a "spy capture" application allows the selection of a camera. Ichat doesn't seem to as as far as I can tell.
