Hello I've been using SwiftKey for a long time but it gets worse everyday. I type in 2 languages and at first swift key works great but later as you use it it makes to many auto correct mistakes. My native language isn't on the list in the stock keyboard dictionary. Question is does anyone know a good keyboard that does not require switchin languages manually? Thank you!

Polish. Swift key works ok at the beginning then it gets bad lol. Even English auto correct gets bad.

With stock keyboard you mean the iOS10 standard keyboard? You're language is in there and I personally type in two languages as well. Works like a charme.

But I have to switch between languages manually. SwiftKey works this way that you just type and do the need to swap between EN and PL.

My problem with this feature is that you still have to activate or better you still have the second language keyboard. For example you can type in English and German and don't have to switch the keyboards - iOS detects on its own which language I'm currently using. But when I want to use an emoji I have to switch keyboards and then there is one extra step to get back where I started (because you still have 3 keyboards: English, German and Emoji).

Is there any different way if you want to use Emojis maybe with 3rd party keyboards or on other phones? I dunno. You can at least hold the globe button and directly select emojis or go back to one of the alphabetic keyboards if that helps.

I didn't even realise this was a thing in iOS 10, until now. THANK YOU!

I frequently use English and German!

I now tried it with just downloading the dictionaries of the two languages and adding just one of these language's keyboards. It seems like that I can now type in both languages and autocorrect is working.

    Hello guys.
Since iOS 10.2 again I can only get autocorrection working if both keyboards are enabled. Before it was enough to just have both dictionaries installed. So I am back to the same problem as before. I now have to have two language keyboards and the emoji keyboard which makes switching between them really annoying.
    Anyone noticed it too?

Mhh I don't like using a 3rd party keyboard either but thanks for the help. I'm just wondering how something like this gets "bugged" in an update. Hopefully iOS 10.2.1 will fix it.

So, 10.2.1 has fixed this for me on iPhone 7 and 6, but strangely not on my iPad Air 2...
The settings are exactly the same:
    - iPhone/iPad Language: English
    - Preferred language order: English, Portuguese
    - Dictionary: British English, American English, Portuguese, Apple Dictionary
    - Keyboards: English (UK), Emoji.

On the iPhones it now works as it should: it will detect which language I'm writing and adjust the auto-correct automatically.

On the iPad, with exactly the same settings, it only recognises English! Bizarre...

There are some alternatives that do also automatic language switching I think which are:
Go Keyboard - also has word swipe feature + supports Polish language
Nintype - also has word swipe feature + supports Polish language
Fleksy - doesn't have word swipe feature but does support Polish language

Unfortunately Apple's own keyboard still doesn't support it yet for Polish or e.g. Dutch as well.
I think they kind of stuff should be added first thing + finally add a word swipe feature in the Apple keyboard so I no longer have to stick to third party keyboards that aren't allowed to use word dictation (Siri).

This setup wont work for me. I have to select german as the iphone language and english + emoji as the keyboard setup (or english + emoji + german keyboard). Otherwise the multilingual typing isnt working for me.

But then again I have this strange lag when I begin to type. I HATE THAT LAG.
Nobody else experiences something like that?

It seems to be really strange and 10.2.1 didn't changed anything for me. No lag though.

For me it looks like this:

Auto-detection of language is working if
    - iPhone language = English
    - Preferred language order: English, German
    - Dictionary: British English, American English, German, Apple Dictionary, German - English
    - Keyboards: English, Emoji

and auto-detection of language doesn't work if
    - iPhone language = English
    - Preferred language order: English, German
    - Dictionary: British English, American English, German, Apple Dictionary, German - English
    - Keyboards: German, Emoji

Funny thing is now that I'm using the first variant speech-to-text only works in English and doesn't recognise German anymore.
