I hate the new method to bring it up (swiping from island). Double tapping the bottom bar was so much quicker and easier. I have reported it and given feedback.

Seems like such a dumb backwards change lol? Anyone with a plus screen is gonna struggle.

Hopefully they put back 🤷

You can also just pull down anywhere on the homescreen too. Just like Spotlight search has always worked.

My theory: the double-tap being gone probably means they are freeing up that gesture area for some kind of dock swipe for foldables to be more like the iPadOS dock. Don't want too many gestures down there because it gets confusing.
