How do you guys manage to type on iPhones X (and older) without accidentally pressing the dictate or the language selector buttons? This always happens to me especially if I'm trying to type with one hand. Those buttons are so badly placed, there's no way to avoid accidentally pressing them with my thumb. Do you have a way to avoid this or you just suck it up?

The same thing happens with the camera/flashlight buttons on the home screen...

You just get used to it. Although most of the times I just type with both hands. So that’s not a problem I felt personally.

I guess you get used to whatever size you have. I typed on an iPhone 3G and 4 so I guess you adapt. However after having the 6 plus, 6s plus and then the 7 plus I struggled with the X as it was much smaller and narrower than what I had been used to. It’s very easy for me to type on my 11 pro max now.

Still the same mess as with the original iphone
12 years of typos and no end in sight:)

I often use two hands to type on 4.7". It's actually too wide for me to type one-handed.

That said, more often than not I reply to messages using the iPad (iMessage and SMS forwarding) as that's the device I usually have in front of me.

You can remove the dictate and language buttons in keyboard settings.
