Typing shortcuts

I've gotten really used to not having to type my whole email addy on iOS5 that I miss it when on OSX. How can I replicate this functionality on my Mac?

For those who don't know of it, I mean typing 'jse' for example and having johnsmith@email.com suggested.

TypeIt4Me or TextExpander can do that.
I use TextExpander, but only for standard answers I give here on MR.

not sure where in Lion

but in preferences there should be a language and text option, within this it allows substitution

I just tried adding jse with an email as the replacement and it works fine
