For people who care about that sorta thing.. GSM/CDMA unlocked combo model;

Can bypass account details and select ‘do it later’ insert your own SIM option.

I have ATT X, contract free, thats Intel GSM only radio, but i dont think I’m gonna swap cause build is perfect, phone is fault free, I’m 2 days over return policy (i think they’d be flexible tho), and most importantly, perfect screen. Don’t wanna go through swap hell, or wait hell. Or both. Lol

I had two VZ i got that i stumbled into launch day at apple store and bought in store, but they had comparatively worse screens by lottery chance (not related to VZ vs ATT models, at. All.)

Target/Apple seem to be giving Verizon all the love. In stock local. But, no ATT. I was gonna get a Verizon one for the Qualcomm modem. But, saw some tests saying that "this year" the Intel on ATT has better speed than Qualcomm on ATT. Reversed if on Verizon. Also, some one on ATT with Qualcomm was told their call quality was not that good.

You said you had Verizon and now ATT X's on ATT. Did you see any better performance with Qualcomm ones as far as signal strength and call quality.

Thanks

I didn’t have them long enough to make an assessment

The screens were inferior so they went back quick

I’ll need to pass this on to a colleague at work. He wants to buy his daughter a X, and his family does a bit of traveling to China on occasion...he’s already set on buying the Verizon version even though he’s on ATT.
