U.S.A. - Apple.com - New Apple Watch Series 10/Ultra 2 - US Pre-Orders, Orders, and Delivery Status Thread (2024)

None of my watch faces carried over from my old watch. I sent one to my husband and he texted it to me so I got that one. I have not cleared the watch yet. Just turned it off for now and will reset it later.

And going from a 40mm S4SS to a 42mm Titanium is definitely a change. 2mm is a lot. Plus, I was able to play my podcast directly from my watch; it sounded fine.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to play podcasts from my new series 10, but I can’t seem to get it to work.

I looked online to see if my closest Apple store had the Series 10 in stock, and the website showed that I could pick one up today. So, I immediately high-tailed it to the nearest Apple Store after work and did a walk-in. I was able to snag one while trading in my series 9. My sister also unexpectedly showed up to the same store around the same time and as a walk-in, and she was also able to snag a iPhone Pro 1TB in the desert titanium! We both got incredibly lucky today and we weren't even sure if they would still have the items we wanted, at the store.

I probably could have still stayed with my Series 9 watch, but I quickly make my watches die. I'm Deaf, and I rely on my watches more than my iPhone. And I can also control my cochlear implants via bluetooth on my watch which is a HUGE game changer for me. So far with my watch, I'm loving how much thinner it is and how much lighter it is. I feel like it's so much more comfortable on the wrist than the old one.

I got the 46mm Jet Black aluminum with the Nike Sport band in the Volt Splash. I'll have to share a photo tomorrow (literally exhausted from work today and from the adrenline of getting the new watch 😂), but the color combo with the neon yellow and the jet black... it's the chef's kiss.

so do i have to return the whole watch if i need to switch out the band? or will they let me keep the watch and just give me a different band (and refund the difference?).

My Milanese band is really sharp on the little cap piece end of the band that folds over and even the sides are rough in a few areas!

i didn't realize it at first.... but then I realized my wrist was hurting.... and that's when i noticed the sharp edges!

I was just going to order another watch with a different band to have it delivered and return this one but the delivery is late oct!
 
I had to return the watch when I wanted a different band, but you may be able to exchange your and for the same one since it must be defective. My ML loop band is fine. You must have gotten a bad one.

well that stinks if I have to return it. I'm so bummed cuz the Milanese looks so nice with the slate watch but that little cap piece on the end is just so sharp and pokes into my wrist.

The gold looks so fancy. I got the jet black and didn’t think it would even feel like an upgrade but the second I unboxed it I noticed how thin and light it was. Totally worth it

Thank you - it's beautiful. UPS apparently missed a lot of folks so my watch is arriving TODAY. It's the same config as yours except a 42. We will be out at a meeting so they better just drop it off in my parcel locker - they didn't require a signature for my phone yesterday.

One thing that I might miss with my Ultra 1 is the battery life. The Series 10 is said to have good battery life. We'll see. I went 2 days most times before the Ultra 1 needed a charge.

It is beautiful. You’ll love it. I can do more color combinations with the gold than my S4 aluminum slate for sure. The speaker is surprisingly loud and clear when Listening to Pandora. I should be studying for a test on Monday but ca’t focus bc the new watch😩🤪

Here's the Series 10 46mm in Jet Black aluminum with the Nike Sport Band in Volt splash. Loving this color combo. The Volt Splash band really makes that Jet Black pop out.

Anyone else’s order from Verizon stuck in limbo? I ordered a 46 mm natural Ti with sport band on 9/13 with delivery scheduled for Friday 9/20. It has not shipped yet and the order page still says “ordered” and estimated to deliver 9/20. I’m on hold waiting for a status update.

Update: I finally received a shipping notice and tracking number from Verizon this morning. Will be here by Wednesday! Last time preordering from Verizon. 😴 This is the 2nd time this has happened with a preorder. I do not mind waiting a bit longer, but I hate false expectations and being left in the dark by support when I ask for information on my order status.

A little bit of an impulse purchase, but I went into my local Apple Store yesterday to look at the Series 10, thinking I would settle for the Aluminum S10 with GPS and cellular. After trying it on, it really didn't look any different than my Black Stainless Steel Series 6. Slightly bigger screen, yes, but otherwise unremarkable. Ended up buying the natural titanium Ultra 2 with the blue trail loop. Hoping it will last me 4 years as my Series 6 did.
