I didn't LOL! I was in high school and I was too broke. All the rich kids had it in high school tho. This is when RAZR & sidekick phones were also very popular.

I was 51 - the same age my girlfriend is right now. BTW, I loved my Motorola RAZR before I got the iPhone.

Not going with woven case this time around after watching multiple videos and peoples reviews. Does not seem sensible in terms of germs. Oil, sweat, dirt will all get caught on it. I ordered a silicone case instead. I miss leather. Waiting until people get their hands on bullstrap in October and then I might buy that leather case.

I've been using the Anker Nano Pro brick and the usb-c to lighting for the last year, and my 14 pro max battery is still at 100%, so I am going to be sticking with the Anker Nano Pro brick and their new cable for the 15. Plus when MKBHD mentioned them last year I knew I had to give them a try.

Thank you for this. I think I'm doing to order the Anker Nano Pro Brick charger too. Pretty impressive your iPhone 14 Pro Max battery is still at 100%. I'm already down to 89%. So lame!

What's your charging pattern looks like?

iPhone line up with major hardware changes evolution!

My personal favorite: 2010 design. What's yours?

2012 iPhone 5 is Slate. I still think it's the most beautiful phone they've ever made. And because of the lead time on designing iPhones of one to two years it was probably the last one that had any input from Steve Jobs.

2010. Agree with you. Favorite design. You know what’s interesting? It’s the concept of change. I know a lot of people love the 2010 design. No one ever complained of straight edges then. Now iPhone 15 comes out and reviewers talk about how rounded the edges are. Lmao. Remember reviewers have to
Review. Love what your heart loves. Don’t follow the hype. :).

Yeah, I'm shocked when people say they are under 95%. I charge mine every night, I only have about 4 hours of screen time (10-hour work days and mostly on wifi), I only let essential apps send me notifications, and weather and push are turned off or to only while using the app. I end the day with about 55% every night.

Agreed! I'm not going to lie. iPhone 15 Pro Max is giving retro iPhone 5 vibes. It's beautifully designed. It does give me that major slate vibes.

My EU order (Netherlands) already is ready for shipment, although the delivery date still mentions the 25th.

Any chance I will receive it on releaseday based on prior years? This is the first time ever I don’t have delivery date on releaseday for my iPhone. And I pre-order them every single year.

I know for 99.9% certainty that during the order process the delivery date mentioned 22nd. And after ordering it showed 25th all of a sudden.

I think 2010 was the final design Steve might have had a hand in, and 2012 was just a revision of that 2010 design. But who knows for sure?

Ok, back on here after pre-order early this morning. Now waiting for the tracking fun to begin. :) I remember how hard it is to get UPS tracking numbers when the phones start moving from China, so I made sure I have my UPS My Choice app ready to go. That was the only way I got the tracking number right away in the past. I got a notification as soon as it was created on there. A couple years ago, it was hard to get a number right away and Apple doesn't put the tracking numbers on there app/site until around the day before the phones are delivered.

Lol. I’m an Anker addict! I can’t stop buying their products!
So am I!!! Any time I need something, if Anker makes it, I order Anker! We go to Europe twice a year because one of our daughters and grandson live in the NL. Anker’s chargers and cables are so great for traveling. I love the folding plugs!

I started out with iPhones and then changed to Pixels for a few years to try Google Fi as the cell service and they didn't support iPhones at the time. But then one year when they didn't have the bigger phone as an option, I decided to go back to iphone and will never change again. :) And I get it every year also. As long as I would
get a decent trade-in value on last year's model. :)

Wow! Started with the Original iPhone. Mad respect! That's so cool.

Have you been upgrading every year?
I started with the OG. Purchased it one week after it first launched. Bought the 8GB model. I eventually sold it and later acquired a 4GB that I still have to this day.

The only iPhone years I have ever skipped are 2013, 2018, and 2021.

I also still have ALL my iPhones boxes, including the OG 8GB box.
