I’m surprised this isn’t on the political news forum instead. Anyway, it ought to be clear to Apple that the DOJ under Democratic administrations finds ways to be hostile to the company. They slapped Apple with an anti-trust lawsuit over e-books back when Amazon had 90% market share and Apple had 10%. Now they are threatening anti-trust litigation over the iPhone even though Apple doesn’t even have a majority market share in the US.

All the tech companies, Facebook included, conspired to kill the Hunter Biden story last October, dismissing it as “Russian interference.” Zuckerberg is a known ultra-left-wing Biden supporter. You've just been desensitised to the politicisation that took place under Trump. It's not normal that DoJ NOT be independent of whoever happens to be President. It's NOT normal for Presidents to direct DoJ who or what to investigate. This loss of independence is a stepping stone to a dictatorship.
It says right there in the first post that the investigation started 2 years ago. Hrmmm. Who was controlling the DoJ 2 years ago?
A few incidents of far right nutter being banned (including Trump) does not demonstrate what is occurring culturally within these orgs. Trump just went so far that they had no choice but to remove him because he was too stupid to walk the line and not overtly breach their ToS. I would even argue that if Trump was not president and was saying the things he did (or if any average person did), that he would have been banned much sooner than he was.
If Hunter Biden committed actual crimes... you better believe someone would investigate.
