iPod U2 ipod discontinued

It just hit me that it was probably gone, and sure enough. I bet a updated one comes out next Fall or whenever the next big U2 release is.

Don't hold your breath, although I still saw one in the Apple store this weekend. When supplies sell out, that may be it.🙁
 
someone should hurry and try to get a brand new sealed in box U2 iPod vid, maybe worth a nice penny in the future (good collectors item in the future)
 
I was never wild about the U2 ipod either. Red works better for me as an accent. The project red nano/shuffle are as close as it gets to a U2 ipod these days, Bono's pet project.

I don't know if U2 was ever all that relevant, speaking as someone with all their albums. Their output is mostly in their own little world.
 
they could just release one with a red home button and the signatures on the back. its not like the u2 ipods were that different anyway.
 
I'd rather see an etched "beaTles," with that big dropdown-ish T, in the case. Yellow Submarine was quite a minor part of their career, considering how they're in the movie for less than a minute.
 
Apple should quit actually manufacturing random band iPods and should make them more customizable instead of just colors.

maybe Apple brand covers or sticker-covers?
 
Well, Britney Spears certainly isn't getting an iPod edition. 😉

I think Apple ought to do more special edition iPods, though. It's a good idea, even if I'm not personally going to buy any of them.
