iPod u2 video/m4v video to DVD

I recently gave a u2 iPod to a friend in the UK. Unfortunately, the code for the free video doesn't work on UK iTunes.

I downloaded the video myself here in the US. Can I burn it into a DVD or CD and send it to my friend? Is there an even easier way?
 
you could burn it to a CD, you could post it on a private password-protected personal webpage, or if you really have the time to upload and download, you could just email it to him (assuming he has something like gmail with ridiculous amounts of email storage space)...
