Uber Eats Live Activity freezing

Uber Eats Live Activities used to work and I last saw it working Jan 3rd. The past 2 days it just freezes after a minute or two in both the Lock Screen on my iphone 15 Pro Max and iPad Pro 11 and the Dynamic Island. Both are on iOS 17.3.

Background refresh is enabled as is live activities with frequent updates. Uninstalling and reinstalling Uber eats doesn’t help and neither does restarting the device.

if I kill the uber eats app and restart it, the live activities will update again, but then freeze again.

Any one else having this problem?

I don’t know what changed, but today it worked fine on both my iPad and iPhone.
