Has anyone tried the Ubuntu "Breezy" preview (live cd) on a powerbook? I downloaded it the other day but I couldn't make it boot. I pressed 'c' (is this the right key to boot from a cd?) on startup and then a flashing world icon appeared, and a flashing finder icon came afterward, but then I was back at the OS X login screen. Am I doing something wrong? Should I have gone with "Whorey" instead?

oh btw, it IS the PPC version...

Try holding Option at startup rather than C. It should list all available startup disks, so you should be able to choose the CD and boot from it there.

Thanks, I'm going to try that when I get home (I don't bring my PB to work :( )
