Ubuntu Download for Mac PowerBook G4

    Everywhere i look i just cant seem to find 6.04 for ubuntu!! I have a cd to burn it to, but i can't find the .iso file download! Can someone help?:(


    EDIT: Winni, your file is about 7MB too big for my cd. i need this file as a 699MB file or less, as my cd is only 700MB

    Why do you need such an old version?

    You can get 6.06 here if that helps.

    I'm unsure about your problem... the latest copy of Ubuntu is available off the Ubuntu website http://www.ubuntu.com/

    If you are talking about the Ubuntu, refined for mac, I don't think they do that anymore, as the latest version of Ubuntu works fine with most Macs, apart from minor and easily fixable bugs.

    There has never been a 6.04 version. 5.04, yes. Ubuntu is released every April (04) and every October (10).

    You can get the current release 9.10 for PowerPC here:
    http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/9.10/release/

    I've tested it on my 17" PowerBook G4 1.67GHz, 2 GB RAM. It works beautifully and runs circles around Leopard 10.5.8 on that machine.
