Ubuntu frozen

I have an Imac G5 with ubuntu installed and it continually freezes on the desktop after booting. Neither mouse, keyboard nor cd drive will work.
Ideally I would like to reinstall mac, because when I installed Ubuntu I requested to use the whole disk and now I cannot choose a booting option.
