I am using macOS Sierra with VirtualBox running Ubuntu. I want to use face time in the virtual machine but Virtualbox won't allow it. What do I need to do, please?

Which one is virtual, ubuntu or Mac OS? When you say "won't allow it" can you be specific as to what error you're seeing?

Sorry the Linux is virtual and I really want to know how I can use facetime with it.I don't want Parallels and when I tried virualbox it doesnt have a webcam so I was wondering , if, I have to use it How do I st Facetime up with it?

Facetime is a OSX app, so you can't use it from linux. However, if you are asking about accessing the built-in camera from virtualbox for some other linux program that might understand webcams, you might see if this helps:

I haven't tried it myself but it might point you in the right direction.

PS I found this with a few seconds of googling "virtualbox mac webcam", so if it's not the right answer, some of the other hits might help you out.
