Ubuntu or Pop OS Linux for MacBook Pro 16"?

Hi, for the past year, I found that Pop OS is always better than Ubuntu for Thinkpad. For example, it always work on the latest Thinkpad and all functions keys and GPU switching always work. If I want to install Linux on MacBook Pro 16" using Parallels, which distribution is better?

The distribution of choice is wholly irrelevant in terms of which is better. This is especially true when being run on even moderately powerful computers either natively, or virtually.

Choose the distribution you enjoy the best as the one to use.

Pop OS is built off of Ubuntu with some tweaks. Both will be fine

I know but I several Thinkpad I and some users tried had issues with Ubuntu but Pop OS worked. Some could not even install. For example, X1E and P53. I don't know Parallels well as I have not used it for about 10 years. The latest version created some kind of Ubuntu folder on the Mac desktop. Perhaps better integration with Ubuntu?
