Anyone have any data or sources on properly loading win8 or ubuntu onto a mac. My current deck is a 2k11 mac mini. Ubuntus recommended tools have destroyed the efi and I had to load into an older version of macos lion and update again for a basic repair. firmware would not recognise any device input. win8 dumps a hex matrix and ubuntu sits and ***** on the efi till its broken.
Is loading win 7 a way to upgrade to 8 then sideboot to ubuntu via win8 desktop?
Any word on these id like to run these operating systems I have ample capacity on my mini to do so.
