It's designed as a control panel, and its extremely customisable. I've been using it for quite a while now. It's beautiful: it lets you modify keys (eg, map the caps lock to the control key) and the operation of your mouse/trackpad.
In my case, I use it such that, when I hold down the function key on my ti-book, my trackpad works as a scroll whell - horizontally and vertically. Using it only for vertical scrolling is less intrusive, but horizontally is very handy once you get used to it.
