ok. I've tried to fix classic mode on my imac earlier but I couldn't do a thing to get it to work. to my surprise I found that OS 9 was already on the system... but it's a broken OS. that explains why classic wasn't working. but it won't boot and when I start up the mac with alt option it only sees my one hard drive and it trys to boot os 9 with it, but it can't. it starts up with a floppy with a ? on it.

I know it's not broken but it has a disk in it and I can't eject it. and where can I find a bootable os 9 cd so I can get it to boot after this?

thank you, if need be I might give applecare a try (but oh do I hate those stores)

ok, got the disc ejected that was easy.

but even though it's out the computer still only recognizes the one drive and doesn't let it boot off of 10.3

thanks in advance
