Uhh.. Why does my mobile Youtube not look like everyone else's??

Are you talking about the "Home", "Videos", and "My Account" bar at the top? Thsts because your logged in... Otherwise it looks exactly the same to me.

how come when I go to youtube on safari on my phone the videos wont play and the pictures are grey with an arrow going through a play symbol

i fixed it anyways.... just had to clear cache, cookies, and history from settings...

and yes it matters to me.. because i preferred it over the native youtube app. However, I had to format my phone and when i tried adding the youtube site.. it wasn't the new updated one.

That usually means that that particular video is either private or has been removed

Dunno how far Google have got in fixing this yet, but certainly at launch the new site only worked if you had your language set to US English. I'd check that.

Otherwise you get the old site, which is what the OP is seeing.
