uk 3 mifi unlock with mac??

hi i have acquired today a 3 mifi without a sim, i want to unlock it using a mac ( for free🙂)

can anyone point me in the right direction and shed any advice on the best deals out there on a data plan of some sort for it PAYG preferable

as far as i know there is no mac solution yet but if you have boot camp/parallels just borrow a pc goto: -

It's not the easiest to do for free. My son did his over the weekend. He was cursing an swearing quite a bit and he definitely had to drag a PC out to do it.
