Folks, I have both a UK and US Apple ID. Is it possible for me to have 1 user ID for my UK account and 1 for my US account on the same Mac?

I don't mind giving it a try, just a touch worried in case I c0ck it up as this is my main machine 😱
Do you mean:
Two separate user accounts, one signed in to US and one to UK…
or…
One user account with primary Apple ID signed in to (say) US with a secondary Apple ID signed in to UK?
Be aware that Secondary Apple ID accounts can only sync Mail, Contacts, and Calendars.
I would think first method wouldn’t have a problem with US/UK, less sure about the secondary account route.

2 separate user accounts.
So, I'll have:
User 1 which'll be my UK ID: scouser1@xyz.com
User 2 which'll be my US ID: scouser2@xyz.com
Then when I log into my UK account I'm hoping to have access to the UK app store and iTunes store.
And when I log into us account, hoping to have the US stores.
You can use one Apple ID account for device registration and another Apple ID for Media Purchases.
But family sharing will only work with Apple ID in the same country.

Yes, it is not an issue.
The setup has nothing to do with the ICloud ID in Mac OS.
You change the login in iTunes/Apple Music only.
The way I do it, the US account is my main account, and if I need to buy anything in Europe I use the European account for the transaction and then log back into the US account. You will need to do this on all devices.
For example, if you buy something on the “other” account you will need to login in on an Apple TV as well, otherwise the Apple TV won’t be authorized to play the content.
All EU purchases remain activated even when logged into the US account.
The only caveat is, your US form of payment won’t work (or vice versa). I use EU iTunes gift cards for the European store.

I was using this method previously, but stopped doing this on an all too frequent basis as some UK users have been locked out of their UK accounts for frequently switching accounts.
Therefore, my thought was rather than SWITCH UK and US accounts, I'd set up SEPARATE USER ACCOUNTS on my Mac.
Most of the times I'd LOG into my UK account as that's where I do all of my day to day work. BUT if I wanted to buy a film, I'd log into my UK account. This way, if this method is possible, no getting locked out of any accounts 😉
Oh and I also have a Canadian account for Fubo 😂

Lads, a quick update - and it's positive. I setup my US account on my Mac earlier and it all seems to be working well 😁
I didn't even need a VPN to log into my Music or ATV app, which I'm surprised about.
