I'm starting to get a little worried now as mine was posted on the 16th, and last update was the 18th when is supposedly left Chicago, since then NO updates.

The sender has asked USPS to do a trace on it but still no response from that either yet :/

I'm not waiting for an iPad but I am still waiting to get home. The ash cloud caused a huge backlog in terms of flights although no updates for over a week would cause me some concern.

If it was priotary and not Express then do not really expect it fast. Priority mail is around 6-15 'business' days delivery.

Which could take up to 3 weeks, since business days do not include weekends.

Also Priority mail is not tracked anywhere near as much Express mail, it is a pretty much a non tracked service form what I read.

What!? You are expecting timely delivery of a USPS parcel from the US to the UK. Or at least timely delivery info. Bwhahahah. The USPS is about as efficient as Robert Fulton's first steamboat.

Class: Priority Mail International Parcels

Priority Mail® International
6 - 10 Days

That is Business days.

Add 4 days for the weekends plus add about 3-6 days because of the volcano.

Even without Volcano it was not due till Friday 30th April.

If you paid about $10 extra you could have gone Express which is 2-5 days.

I ordered mine from the States almost two weeks ago since Apple postponed the international launch date. With the exchange rate and the strong euro + tax it will cost about the same and I planned on having it one month early..... yeah right... stupid volcano.... grrrrrrrrrrrr

so far no updates, I already called my customs bureau but they haven't gotten the package yet, should I get worried? I hate being patient :)

You are not alone, I had mine sent from Miami on the 20th and the tracking info has not been updated since. ParcelForce keep saying it has not entered the UK and they think it is still sitting in storage at Miami :(

I am sort of glad to see this thread actually, as I was starting to think it had just 'disappeared'.

Hang in there fellas. Mine was posted USPS Express on the 16th and I only got it yesterday (would have been today but I picked it up from the depot).

Oh and you might want to check out this thread as it is where us Brits are hanging out and botching about where our deliveries are ;)

I recieved my first ipad from the US within 7 days via USPS first class and I live in the Falklands and the ipad has to go via UK!! That's very impressive hence USPS can't be too bad!!! That was just before the ash cloud.

My other ipad seems to have been caught up in the ash cloud fiasco, sounds like they are slowly dribbling thru so fingers crossed mine will arrive soon!!!
