I would be nice if it were time. But...no offense to the non-Americans, but untill the US store goes down, I wouldn't start holding my breath.
 
Why would US be up whilst others down? Are updates normally done in stages for different areas? By the way, has anyone noticed the date... for the fourth version of the OS, today is 4/4/05

europe goes down first i think?
 
First of all, I've never been to the UK store before. Second, I've never hit refresh so many times in my life. I hope you guys are right about Europe going down 1st. This would make my day.

Might be worthwhile keeping an eye on the Apple site at 4pm Cupertino time, then. 😉
 
Australia, Singapore, Hong-Kong are all still up.

It seems this is an EU thing incl. Switzerland.

Most likely just maintenance. All stores usually go down together when there is a major update.
