I doubt that since the main issue with the PS5's inventory is the lack of GPU availability. I will say this is pretty unfortunate that we're heading to yet another Christmas not being able to easily buy a PS5 at normal retail price.

This is...non news....what more can I say, hardware news yes, this .... nope.
 
In this case I 100% expect an announcement today, with the event taking place on the 14th.
I'm not very interested in the iPhone, but I can't wait for the event, so that we can shift our focus on the juicy stuff (the macs).

It took some effort here in NL, but it was doable. Even the stores have them sometimes. And it was definitely in store in Sweden according to a friend who lives in Stockholm.

Both me and a friend subscribed to a telegram channel of a games magazine, that was watching inventory at the shops. It took some patience, and being quick, but we both managed to snatch one up inside 2 weeks of each other.

Part of the trick was that the shop offer non-negotiable bundles with an extra controller and 3 games. (they set the games, I got ratchet & clank, spiderman and demon souls). That chased scalpers away.

trucks and cars where affected significantly because at the beginning of the pandemic they cancelled all their chip orders, because they foresaw a major drop in demand. It turned out that they where wrong, but all the slots where now taken. Then they started ordering like mad, causing shortages elsewhere, and everyone started doing mad dashes.

Apple is slightly less affected since they reserve significant production slots and lines far ahead of time.

Proof confirms something to be true while evidence supports something expected to be true.

Yep its ridiculous I know, my standard ps4 is going strong though but want to upgrade to the PS5. X box Series S are in stock though, so there is that option if you want one for the MS exclusives!
 
The iPhone 13 is this years XS. If it doesn’t sell well, expect upgrade incentives galore and price slashes in Asia. Part of the reason why I say this is the abundance of iPhone 12 devices I see in use. That straight edge body, the three cameras and the pacific blue (which is the one I see the most) is unmistakable. 2020 was definitely a super cycle year.

Still looking for a reason to leave my X behind. Still sticking to fall 2023.
 
Will be interested in upgrading my watch, keeping the iPhone 11 though, out of the upgrade my phone on every new release habit now.
 
I don't use Sky Mobile as I find the O2 signal too weak, but I wonder what promotions and offers they'll be doing.

I shall be taking a look at the new phones, or the iPhone 12 with its inevitable price drop.

I bet the first iteration of this graphic included imagery on the box and then it went through Apple approval... Rather than coming up with a new design, this was what they landed on. A blank box.

If you want to be taken seriously, do not exceed 1 emoji per message. If you want to seem clever, you need to find just the right emoji pair. 3 random emoji in a "register your interest" tweet just looks like they've gone through a round of cost cutting in the corporate communications department.
