how much is a 42 replacement screen in the UK.

I've tweeted Apple and been into my local store and nobody knows!!

Not very impressive.

Hmm. Still doesn't state the cost of replacing the screen. Surely they can simply state "screen replacement £X"

It can't be that hard.

It states that the cost to replace the screen will be the price of the out of warranty fee for whichever model you own. It doesn't seem like they just charge for the screen but maybe someone else will be able to confirm this.

"If your Apple Watch screen breaks accidentally, you might have the option to replace your Apple Watch for an out-of-warranty fee."

So if you have a sport it's £176.44 and stainless steel/ Hermès is £266.44.

Thanks for that. "Might have the option" seems rather vague.

£176 to replace the screen on the sport seems extortionate considering the cost of the watch to begin with or the equivalent iPhone screen replacement cost.

On top of that watch screens are not replaced in store. They are sent away for 7-10 days.

Guess the watch will just get dumped in the drawer then.

If you are still unsure it may be worth talking to Apple via web chat to see if they can give an exact price.

It sucks having to wait for the repair/ replacement to come back but can be worth it. :)

I've tried WebChat, tweet and personal visit to a store just now (genius appointment) and they just shrug their shoulders.

AFAIK thats because they don't replace the screen. They replace the whole unit -> ie. you get new watch.
Thats why the price is so high.
