UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

New info has popped up on expeditor.

Note the Import customs release, which wasn't there before.
 
expeditors advice - uk

hi there
my shipment came by expeditors and yes their website will say shipment not cleared - customs blah blah - but dont take that tracking number too literally beyond the plan landing in the uk - i called Apple up today and the shipment is now being given to a courier for tomorrow's delivery as scheduled - so my advice is once you imac lands in the uk - just give apple a call so they can trace is for you - their systems seem to have more information than what we end users see - once you have the final courier tracking number like ups, fedex etc then you can breathe ;0
 
For those who have the same batch reference PO 8237277533, I guess this is where we depart. From Shanghai to Amsterdam, then on the long road journey from Amsterdam to London. Our iMacs have kept each other company throughout the trip. :D

All of this Xmas excitement. I've got to collect my Girlfriend's iPad Mini tomorrow from the depot (Xmas present) but will have to wait a week or so til I get back to play with my iMac.

Count yourself lucky, I've had "Processing" for 21 days (over 500 hours) - lol

Hopefully it will arrive soon and hopefully mine will soon be preparing for shipment:)

I know I am lucky to have left the "processing" club, but I don't understand why it takes so much time from "Preparing for shipment" to "Shipped".

Has Mr Spock would say "It's illogical"! ;)

And 21 days of "processing" is inhumane. Good luck with that. Sincerely! I hope yours will be preparing for shipment soon.

The logic of Apple's shipping and preparations dates is very frustrating...

The package was missed at the UPS facility, UPS will deliver on the next business day.

She said what happened is the driver ran out of time to deliver it.

I left a message for the driver to find my house more easily, as it is a close which does not always appear in the GPS. Hope they won't miss the delivery today.

I ordered my first apple computer, the 27inch iMac around 1pm GMT on the 30/Nov through the HE store.

Specs:

3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
16GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2X8GB
3TB Fusion Drive
NVIDIAGeFrc GTX 680MX 2G GDDR5
APPLE MAGIC MOUSE
PAGES PREINSTALLED

Apple WL Kybd+User's Guide-B
COUNTRY KIT-B

I also ordered the USB superdrive and the applecare. My order changed to shipping on the 15th and estimated delivery date is for the 21st, although I still have not revived any tracking information. Simply 'In transit to customer'.

Hoping it will be here in Manchester UK on time so I can use it to edit my next shoot on Saturday.

What reference number do you have? Try entering the delivery reference number in www.expeditors.com.

Thank you! I put my reference number in that site and was given the following info:

20-Dec-2012 15:00:00 GMT Requested Delivery Date
20-Dec-2012 13:12:00 GMT Out for Delivery
20-Dec-2012 11:44:00 GMT Import Customs Release

I wonder if that means its coming today or if its heading to Apple for merging first! Either way It's nearly here :D

IT'S JUST NOT FAIR!!!!!!

Heard that someone with 21-31 dec dates got pushed back to 'january'. What does Apple think, everybody outside USA is not important???? Grrrrr.

I'm still processing...
