Anyone know of any deals going on at the mo for deals on the Retina Mini?

I know Tesco are doing the £30 off over £300 gig but they don't have stock yet.
 
Currys/PC World have £30 cash back on retina minis

John Lewis will likely price match and come with 2 years warranty.

I had a look at the Currys cashback deal then a quick google says loads of people are struggling to get their money back after the purchase.

I think I'll wait for John lewis to get stock then price match the tesco deal.

Any idea what John Lewis are like with returns?
In case there is something wrong with the iPad, I'm not OCD but screen color is something I worry about.
I bought a bum iPad 3rd gen and returned it for a flawless replacement, the difference between the 2 was like night and day.

I purchased mine from Apple but was thinking of going with Currys, I believe you can only initiate a claim for cashback after 21 days.

Will keep an eye out for Tesco/JL - The main reason I didn't buy from Currys is exactly what you're talking about, returns and Currys isn't the best when it comes to that IMO.
 
I have ordered the ipad Air from the Apple HE store, 128/LTE for £716. Delivery estimate is 26th Nov.

I am now thinking of going to John Lewis today and just picking it up.

Is the extra £23 worth the extra year of JL warranty?

Also, what are their returns policy after opening?

Finally, do they price match in-store? If so, what deal should I quote?

Is anywhere actually selling the iPad Mini Retina in store? .. from what I see online it's only the Apple store online that are selling?
I know they're really constricted with supply
 
Does it say next day anywhere for currys? I have ordered a 32GB Grey Wifi and it will be dispatched 'when stock is available'
 
Would be good to know how people get on with currys - I'm doing the same thing. I got an email saying they estimate it being delivered on the 19th but who knows!
 
Just ordered rMini from JL (with 3yr warranty), for collection from local Waitrose on friday.
Then you have up to 30 days to Pricematch, so hoping Tesco get stock again before their £30 off code expires!
 
I have a 16gb on order from Apple that says "preparing for dispatch". I think I'd prefer a 32gb. Should I order from LJ? How can I cancel/send back Apple order

I had loads of trouble with JL and price matching my iPad Air. In a nutshell, they wouldn't. You just have to show them where you can buy the same item cheaper elsewhere and they refund the difference. In my case I bought in store and I found it £30 cheaper online so they wouldn't price match.
 
anyone managed to pickup 64gb lte version from apple retail store? i ordered one online but was wondering if the london stores had them in stock?
