Did you order multiple devices? The only people that are getting emails are those that ordered more then one. I'm confident they'll honour one purchase per customer as the email suggests.
No I didn't tbf. I did say amazon would honour it but there were many unbelievers. We shall see this Saturday. Gutted I didn't manage a 256 or 512 though.

Get this for whatever phone you’re getting . The best I’ve had and a perfect fit. Superb.

I upgraded the other day to the 100GB deal but when I go on the EE app and plan deals it says I am still eligible to upgrade, surely that can’t be right

Amazing if folk actually get these.
Also slightly gutted, as I did go onto Amazon at the time they were showing as availiable to order, and just thought "Nah, it'll never happen!"
I also saw these but I'm after the Pro Max, thought Amazon would never honour the price so didn't bother. 😥

...don't tell the boss that I've been watching the vids whilst 'working from home'.
🤫
I run my own company so I've been watching at work. Got to be don't benefits!

Seeing how easy MagSafe detaches in this video has put me off the wallet. What you all think?
I won't be going for the wallet. Far too easy to detach.

Privacy screen for me. £13 and has proved excellent on my X for the past few years.

What case is that? Looks good.

I probably won't be switching 5g on, as it appears to really impact battery life, even on the smart mode:

"Apple never reveals battery capacity figures for its devices, which makes it challenging to glean any insights regarding longevity from a spec sheet. Still, larger screen iPhones tend to perform decently in our custom battery test, where devices continuously surf the web over cellular at 150 nits of screen brightness.

For a bit of perspective, the iPhone 11 tallied 11 hours and 16 minutes in this test, and we deem anything over the 11 hour mark to be very good. The iPhone 12, however, averaged 8 hours and 25 minutes in the very same test, which would appear to be a significant decrease.

However, there is a deeper story here. Like the iPhone 11, Apple rates the iPhone 12 for an identical 17 hours of video playback, along with 65 hours of audio. However, the iPhone 11 didn’t have 5G to contend with. And when we ran our test again with 5G switched off in favor of LTE, the iPhone 12 performed better — a lot better.

The iPhone 12 lasted 10 hours and 23 minutes on 4G — two hours longer than its 5G time. If we had to guess, the culprit could be that 5G consumes more power, or that the limited span of 5G networks makes it difficult for the iPhone 12 to maintain a consistent 5G connection, forcing it to switch back and forth between 5G and 4G. It could very well be a combination of both factors, as we noticed some switching in our testing, but ultimately it’s too early to conclusively say what the culprits are." Tom's Guide

Just caught up with with the thread. Really great news about the amazon orders. As they are cancelling orders for people that ordered multiple devices hopefully it improves the delivery dates for everybody else, at the moment i'll have to wait till Monday. Will cancel my Apple order tomorrow. Typical that the payment actually went out on my credit card today from pending.

im leaving my Apple order for now. It’s due Friday and I’m still not overly confident of Amazon coming through.

The 12 could also have been indexing whilst it was initially used on 5g. They could also have been playing around with it a lot more.
Other reviews says it holds the battery life well.

Some reviews read like adverts - I think many are worried that they won't be given review units next time if they are too critical. Haven't come across any others that are publishing raw numbers from tests, but would be interested if you've seen any?

Right or not, it works!

I upgraded to a 100GB £20pm the other day, then realised I was eligible for student discount so immediately upgraded again to 200GB for £25, reduced to £20.

You’ll get a mail if you ordered more than one device. The rest won’t get email, just their discounted device on Saturday... should we expect them on the normal delivery time for amazon or these will be separately delivered (as higher value?)
Sometimes in my own experience Amazon does not like to use their own couriers for high value items and may choose to go with a courier. In my own experience any tech over £500 comes with DPD
My launch day iPhone 11 Pro from Amazon arrived by Royal Mail if that helps

Thanks for the heads up, just ordered the charger. FYI you don't need to add the screen protectors to get a 50% discount.
