I keep going back and forth between black and blue. I think Blue will be more popular so Might opt for the Black as I will have a case anyway

I initially was going to have the blue but then decided against it - I figured it's going to be really popular so more risk of a delay on release.

I have gone for Graphite. Said I'd go back to the darker phone after having a Gold one for a 18 months and likewise, I have a case that covers the colour up anyway

Guys before selling your Mobile off to one of the UK Mobile Comparison Website places

Please check the reviews on the companies, I was about to use one of them, and when I researched the company, it was stated in some reviews they actually send you a lower offer once the phone is received, regardless of what you locked it in at. Some were saying the company said there was a small line scratch but the customer knew there wasn’t.

Just be very wary!

Who was the company ?

My wife got an SE 2020 a couple of weeks ago. Sent off her iPhone 8 via the box that Apple sent her. All went ok and she got an email to say they'd approved everything fine.

How long did it take for them to credit the account or send the money ?

Downsizing here from an 11 pro max to the 12 in product red I think...

I’m doing exactly the same but for the 12 in blue. There’s not too much deference in screen size and I don’t use the phone as I believe it was intended with all those fancy photos. Plus the weight of the 12 makes it very appealing

Looks like there’s a digital version for setting up the esim this time on EE

I'm totally ready for the iPhone 12 Pro Max - waiting is hard but I'll be ready to smash the pre order button on 6th November. Fingers crossed for release day delivery :D

The screen size is also true. Not much of a difference really is there..

I'm currently on an XS Max. I've always loved a big phone, but wonder if I'd notice much difference between the XS Max and the iPhone 12 Pro rather than the 12 Pro Max that I've been looking at? I know no-one has any to compare at the moment but any thoughts?

No. They send you the new iPhone then a day or 2 later you get sent a pack to send your old one back in. Then once they've received and checked the old one you get a credit for the amount. If it's monthly payments, they speak to Barclays and reduce the payment amount.

Did you have to return the phone in its original box, complete with the charger cable, plug, earphones etc?

I'm in the same boat. My head it torn but i think i'm going to stick with the bigger phone cause the max is the same size as my current 8+

Do we know yet if there’s a physical size difference (as in, in the hand) between the 11 Pro Max and the 12 Pro Max?

I like the idea of the slightly larger screen, but not a larger phone.

Who was the company ?

I suspect this is Grade Mobile. Had me really worried as well as I had not received any response for days and had a tiny scratch on the back so was worried they gonna lower the price significantly but £496 just dropped into my account for iPhone 11 64GB. I have another one which is only 3 weeks old (100% battery health and warranty till mid September 2021) got another trade in locked in with webuyanyphone but still can’t make my mind up whether to upgrade or not. That OLED screen and blue colour look very hot to say the least though

The iPhone XS Max is 6.5” whereas the iPhone 12 Pro is 6.1” so the difference is just under half an inch. Not that significant.

on the other hand the iPhone 12 Pro Max is 6.7” so a bigger difference there.

My guess is that a fair number of XS Max and 11 Pro Max owners will settle for the 12 Pro and take the reduction in screen size bearing in mind the cost saving and the earlier availability.

No, they said they didn't want the accessories, just the handset.

I've just looked at the comparison tool on the Apple website. The 12 Pro is slightly smaller but I think I'll notice it. I'll wait for the 12 Pro Max.

On a different note, it looks like O2 on twitter don't know about the 12's being 5G. I Dm'd them to ask how to change my eSim to a 5G eSim in anticipation of the iPhone 12 launch and told them I currently have the XS Max. See their reply below..!

Pretty much what I'm hoping, so there might be more availability of the 12 Pro Max when it launches.

...why are you ordering a new sim?

EE already confirmed you don't need a new sim for 5G.

That’s for a physical sim. If you have an esim you have to transfer it to the new device and the only way to do that is to request another esim as EE don’t support Apple’s seamless esim transfer. Had to do the same thing last year.
