The difference is tiny for me - the jump from my XS Max to 12 Pro Max is not a big one in terms of size.Case has arrived, size comparison with the XS Max

I agree. I changed as the Qualcomm modem is gonna be way better then the Intel one in the XS Max
Our new phones will have been in the UK at Syncreon for a while now. They won't get shipped till Thursday as that is the release date that Apple stipulates.
I suspect people from the US will be tracking their phones across the world this week however.
The week pre-order is likely how long they allow for manufacturing plants/distribution to get the devices across the planet ready for Friday launch.
I'm glad its not just me! I saw the design getting slagged-off when it was mentioned but I really like the look of it - I think its the contrast of the white logo with the coloured phone.
Yup - once the status goes to preparing to ship - it means a device has been allocated and yes our phones are in the UK ready for us. We should see shipping status on Thursday - with tracking either thursday night or early friday.
Yeah for sure and the fact that no other branded case will have it
I am with Vodafone. When I did mine I was without a phone for 24 hours. When you request an esim, sometimes you get the email straight, away sometimes it can take up to 24 hours to arrive. The physical sim stops working as soon as you request the swap. If it does not arrive straight away, Vodafone CS will not help you for 24 hours.

Oh believe me I've been through the whole "you're order is open and hasn't been completed we'll send an email to a team who will complete it for you" nonsense...it's the one thing I really don't like about Vodafone

I had the Mujjo leather case before, which had naff leather buttons and an open bottom but this Apple case is gorgeous!!
It actually adds a nice weight to my iPhone 12 (must be the magnets!!) which I actually thought felt too lightweight - well pleased with it.
